While in Helena for work, we found ourselves inside this bakery. It has a relaxing atmosphere, wonderful aromas and amazingly kind and knowledgeable staff. I just wish I had gotten there earlier and remembered to take pictures of the second batch of 4 we had picked up. If you find yourself in Helena, I'd definitely try this place out.
Melanie made our wedding cake and we got some other selected desserts for the wedding. I had a very specific idea of the flavor I wanted for the wedding cake and I put together a collection of photos I liked. Melanie was a pleasure to work with and executed the flavor (brown butter with caramel) perfectly. We’d specifically asked for frosting that wasn’t too thick or sweet and she made a wonderful buttercream that went amazingly with the rest of the cake. Unfortunately my husband I didn’t have a chance to eat much of the cake - we were not prompted to cut the cake as planned so it was after 9:30PM before we remembered the cake. All the plates were then cleared before people even finished eating so I ended up only getting a few bites before it was gone. We were heartbroken and didn’t get to keep any, but figured that’s just the way weddings go. I sent some photos of the cake to Melanie so she could see it with the flowers on and told her everyone loved it but we didn’t get to eat more than a few bites and she offered to make us a little cake of the same flavor so we could actually enjoy it. We got the little cake this weekend and it’s perfect. We were so happy with the cupcakes and mini chocolate Earl Grey desserts that we got and the guests loved everything. The process of taste testing the cakes was amazing as well; they were very generous with the samples and even gave us some coffees and baked goods to take home that day free of charge. Overall very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend!
What an awesome bakery! We got the tres leches and the early grey triangle. Both were phenomenal! Super moist and incredibly flavorful! Will 100% come back here when I’m back in town!

Just the place and it's always there for you. First time in Helena and needed a place to orient in style. Park Avenue Bakery is there for you. Good coffee, and the pastries were nice albeit pricey. Friendly staff in a pleasant though not overly tidy vibe rounded out a good visit.
Wasn't hungry. I just heard that they had amazing baked goods. So I went in for a croissant... At 1pm. To a bakery. Oops. They were sold out. And the place was packed. With people spilling onto the patio (seating in the sunshine). I'll go back earlier next time fer sure. They have all kindsa of breads cookies and Desserts. . . And they make these special sandwiches. Which they was only two to choose from. "Gotchujang Korean Chicken" looked amazing. So I ordered i, as well as a latte, and Two baked cooked. A Raspberry Crumble bar, and A Peanut Butter Chocolate chip Oatmeal bar. I got home. And devoured the sandwich. Delicious with crisps Butter Lettuce. And then my wife and I shared the sweets. 10/10 on the whole experience. I don't know how I didn't know about this place before.
Best bakery in town by far. Fresh bread and pastries, friendly customer service, and more! Best place for cakes, breads, and desserts. Also has pizza dough available for purchase. We love this place!
I tried the Earl Grey cake and absolutely loved it! It was mild, not overly sweet like grocery store cakes, and you could really taste the quality in each bite, it was very well made. I’d love to come back and try their other pastries, brownies, or fresh bread next time. This visit, I only had the cake, which was $7.50 for a small slice.
Love this bakery. The blueberry pecan cinnamon roll is one of my go tos. But I’ve tried just about everything they have and have rarely gone wrong. I love the aesthetic too. It feels like you’re in a little European bakery. I did have an under cooked / not set cheese cake two different times a while back that I wasn’t impressed with, but every other time I’ve been there, everything has been exceptional ❤️.
One of my favorite places to stop by and get a treat. They're reasonably priced, and have a great variety of goods to choose from. I love their Earl Grey chocolate cake and their decadent flourless chocolate cake, and like to get them for celebrations. The store is so cozy and welcoming, and the staff are very patient and kind. It can be difficult to find seating inside at busy hours, but if you can find a seat, I'd encourage doing so.
